Are you ready to see agriculture in action, participate in fun activities your whole family can enjoy, and make memories that will last a lifetime? If so, the 101st Weld County Fair has everything you’re looking for!
Kicking off on Thursday, July 25, and running through Monday, July 29, the Weld County Fair brings free, family fun to Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley. Enjoy free pancakes on Thursday morning. See various livestock shows throughout the fair and peruse local 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America (FFA) youth exhibitions as well as open class exhibits by community members.
Throughout the week, make sure the kiddos play in the Sandpile for Fun, enjoy the Rocky Mountain Raptors display, then hop into a human hamster ball and race family members to the finish line. Play laser tag, take a wagon ride, and get your picture taken in a photo booth and take home a free souvenir photo! Top it all off by watching Open Team Roping, a garden tractor pull, or youngsters try their hand at catching some zippy rabbits! On Saturday, July 27, be sure to check out the Vette Fest Corvette Car Show and watch hot air balloons lift off (weather permitting). The fair wraps up on Sunday, July 28, with a free community barbecue where live entertainment will be provided.
A perfect complement to the week’s events, there will be more than 40 vendors selling tasty food, unique jewelry, western wear, and much more. You’ll be sure to find something that satisfies your eyes, ears, and taste buds at the 101st Weld County Fair.
